WHY?  WHY ARE YOU TEARING YOURSELF DOWN?

I know it's hard to swallow and believe.

But it is based on science and statistics.

If you're someone who refuses to believe the science, then believe only the statistics of those who went before you.

FACT:  You will be a product of what you think about most.

In other words, if you say, "I'm fat and I will never be thin".

Statistics show that this will be the mantra of your life and you will never reach your goals of having a lean, tight and shapely body.

In the next post I want to share "powerful" words with you that can shape your heart and mind to become unshakable!

But for now, please share your own words--whether good or bad--with us all.

Let's try to open up with each other.

So, do you struggle with negative words and images in your pursuit of your dream body?

Tony, very timely post and I have missed this blog something terrible! Thank you so much. I need to stop my negative talk. It is destroying my life and my body. Today is a new day. Thanks again.

T, Your words have truly helped me to turn my life around but especially in this one area. My own words were at one time my worst enemy until you challenged me to stop it. Now my body and life are brand new. You rock T!

Big T I raise my hand and confess to this one. Words like, "i suck" "I'm a loser" "I will never get ripped" were the biggest monkeys on my back for years. Thanks for kicking my ass and teaching me how to stop it. Where has the blog been bro? Been looking for a while. I'll call you soon. I want to get back on the program.

Ton, Man this is so true. I think I was the king of negative talk and until I turned it around, I was crippled and chained to being a loser. Good stuff big T. Thanks! See you in the gym you beast!

Hey Tony, This type of behavior was something I grew up with. My mom and grandmother built it into me. It was hard to overcome but I did it. I still struggle with it but it has gotten better. Your words really inspire me. Thank you for all that you do.

the power of negative thoughts can tear you down i know because i am a victim of that for many years. Well here is a little inspiration from me db clients.I teach cycle classes at hofstra U for the student and administration last year i created a class called "I got the Power" which involoved motivational positive mantras such as "I am strong", "I am unstoppable","I am the best" and i made everyone say them outloud with me very empowering and moving!

Hi Tony, I have been following you and your female clients for some years now. I must say, I'm very impressed. I see them not only change their bodies so beautifully, but also their attitudes and minds. Kudos to you. This was a great post. How can I sign up for your online program? Thank you.

YO BIG T!! :) You know just how to get me moving and motivated :) This is a great post. As you know I spent years in self abuse through my own words. But after going through your program the first time, it changed that forever. I'm ready to come back to you :) Do I contact Amanda or just sign up on the Online training page??? Miss you!!!

The words we speak to ourselves can cause more trouble than most people would think. Keep postive thought and see positive results. One of the major things I learned from you. I have much respect for you!

Hi Tony, I can totally relate to this. I need help bad with negativity. My entire life has been one of playing victim. My weight and obesity has consumed me. I need to change things.

I think everyone at some point in their life has made negative comments about themselves. I've done it for years and still continue to do so. It's very hard to chanage that without help. I don't see in myself what others do and I always negate it when it happens. Shame on me!!

Theresa and Lorna, Thank you! Lorna, welcome back...been a while and glad to have you back on the team! You both can sign up on the Online training page of the website. any questions, email amanda at amanda@dreambodies.net. Dawn, it's great to hear from you and I hope that you're still kicking it harrrd :) Lynn, I know how hard it can be. Believe me I know. But the change starts inside of you. You CAN do it!! One step at a time.

Sharon, I totally feel what you're saying. But, NO shame...you can change it. You're so right, help is important. Do not give up on seeing the change every single day...focus on it and not on the negative. There will always be days when you feel overcome...shoot...I'm having one right now. But we do not need to give into it. Fight hard today and the change and rest come tomorrow.

Tony, Got to tell you that this post made me think. My wife and I sat and read it last night over and over again. We both are guilty of this and need to make a change. Can you recommend any resources to read?

tearing myself down is something I have been doing since I was a little girl. People tell me I'm beautiful and sexy, but all I see is an ugly girl who needs to get her act together. How can I escape this mindset Tony??????
Posted by Gabrielle on 11/09/2011 - 01:31 PM
I do NOT tear myself down with negative words. This is something I USED to do, but now, I speak positively about myself ALL the time. I am thrilled about how far I have come and enthusiastically looking forward to achieving my dream body in just a few short months!!
